When installing air heaters on boats and yachts and in motorhomes, installation is carried out in remote and hidden places. This is done both to reduce noise from the heater in the room, and for safety reasons. In order for the control unit to receive up-to-date information about the ambient temperature and be able to maintain it at the set values, a remote sensor is used, which is mounted in the room that needs to be heated.

The remote ambient temperature sensor is equipped with a 2.5 meter long wire, it is connected to the heater (hair dryer) control unit and serves to remotely control the microclimate in the cabin (room). Most often used for remote installation of the heater and the use of large lengths of air ducts. Lid not included. Compatible with Air Top 2000, Air Top 2000 S and Air Top 2000 ST heaters. The characteristics of the thermistor are the same for the entire line of Webasto Air Top air heaters, the only difference is in the connection connector, which, with a certain skill, allows you to use them without restrictions.
